Néstor Luján: Entre el rostre i la màscara (Idees) - ¿Per què l'escriptor Néstor Luján (1922-1995) no va arribar a construir una obra literària d'alta volada, tot i el seu talent i les grans expectatives que havia despertat a primers dels anys 40 en l'entorn intel·lectual de «Destino» i especialment en Josep Pla? ¿Per què, a partir d'un cert moment, Luján va preferir posar l'art en la vida i no en l'obra, i substituir la seva veu interior per la d'un personatge de la seva creació que el va anar convertint en un espectador impotent de si mateix? En aquest llibre el periodista Enric Vila assaja respostes convincents a aquestes preguntes.
L'autor converteix un article de Luján publicat a «Destino» el desembre de 1947 en el símbol de la rendició artística de Luján, i en el punt de partida de la transició gradual del dandi rebel i perfectament organitzat contra la felicitat, al Luján hedonista.

Visió obliqua i sense concessions de l'erm intel·lectual de la postguerra espanyola, «Néstor Luján: entre el rostre i la máscara» és un pamflet que enlluerna, escrit amb un estil incisiu i sense aturador, dotat d'una rara penetració psicològica.

Fet i fet, aquest escrit alhora implacable i sensible, guanyador del II Premi IDEES d'Assaig Breu 2003, va més enllà de la peripècia biogràfica d'un autor concret per esdevenir una apassionada defensa del difícil camí de l'artista o de l'intel·lectual en temps difícils per a la llibertat de creació i de pensament.

Nascut a Barcelona el 1972 és llicenciat en Història Contemporània i Periodisme.

És autor del llibre «Què pensa Heribert Barrera» (Dèria, 2001) i publica cada dilluns una entrevista a la contraportada del diari «Avui». Està preparant una tesi doctoral sobre Néstor Luján i és membre del departament de recerca de la Facultat de Comunicació Blanquera, Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona. Abans de dedicar-se al periodisme va intentar viure de la música.
